·       Partner with are SMEs to maintain and configure Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent and Recruiting to meet the evolving needs of the business.

·       Support HRIS projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience.

·       Builds and drives project plans, ensures adherence to schedule and other specifications. Oversees cross-functional teams and partners to ensure deliverables are achieved as per expectations.

·       Participates in various company projects to provide technical system support.

·       Proactively anticipate business needs by gathering and analyzing information to understand requirements and workflow processes to align technology with needs.

·       Identifies areas of improvement, recommends, develops, and configures system solutions, tests new functionality, and ensures successful implementation of new and improved solutions.

·       Evaluates and communicates upcoming system releases.  Work with teams to determine what should be implemented and how.

·       Escalates system issues appropriately and timely to ensure timely resolution

·       Provides production support, including researching and resolving Workday problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

·       Maintains ongoing system/data integrity to ensure accuracy, which includes running audits to identify and correct system/data integrity issues, proactively developing ways to improve processes/systems, making appropriate recommendations, and implementing changes.

·       Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing (plans, coordination, execution) and implementation of Workday system changes, upgrades or patches. Collaborates with functional and technical teams to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.

·       Identify and resolve escalations including but not limited to researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or errors, and process flaws.

·       Develop all system Standard Operating Procedures, FAQs, and user guide documentation.

·       Maintain and enhance Workday knowledge through continued education and training

·       Coordinates and participates in system upgrades and system testing to ensure functionality and security are working as designed.

·       Creates detailed test plans, defines various scenarios and executes test plans; coordinates user acceptance testing and other testing with appropriate groups.

·       Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide insights into workforce metrics for respective departments.  

·       Provide analysis of impacts to reporting based on new releases or updates to system functionality and recommend/apply changes in addition to reporting and dashboard related testing for each release.

·       Ensures that Workday complies with applicable laws and regulations. Monitor system security and recommend improvements as needed.

·       Review emerging system trends for potential updates to system or platform functionality and best practices.

·       Build, maintain, and support integrations to other internal and external systems involving internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate.

·       Respond to and resolve HRIS tickets promptly.

·       Be active in the Workday Community, engaging with other customers in best practices and idea sharing.

·       Provide technical support and act as a subject matter expert, educating system end-users on navigation and usage as needed.

No Direct reports. Will report to the Director, Total Rewards and People Services.  Works closely with IT, Finance, other People team functions, Operations, Accounting, Payroll and Legal.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Level/Certifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent relevant experience preferred

Work Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • At least 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience providing technical and administration support for enterprise Payroll/HRMS or related experience.
  • Workday certifications in areas such as HCM, Compensation and Reporting preferred
  • Understanding HR processes and their associated systems; payroll process knowledge a plus.
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills. Immediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel

Travel Requirement

  • Occasional travel may be required 5%.
